New Maruti Wagon R --- 'The Blue Eyed Boy'

Maruti Suzuki, has officially launched its new improved Wagon R in the Delhi on Friday.The new Maruti Wagon R set to be 'The Blue Eyed Boy' .This engine is not only fuel efficient but more powerful too. Along with the engine upgrade, the company will also face lift the Maruti  Wagon R with new exteriors and interiors. Prices are expected to start at 3.4 lakhs.

The new Wagon R will be powered by Bharat IV compliant 998cc KB series engine developing 67PS(50KW) of maximum power at 6200rpm  and 90Nm of maximum torque at 3500rpm (the current WagonR powered by 1061cc engine developing 64PS of max power and 84Nm of max torque). The new KB series is exactly the same engine which powers the Maruti A-star and Zen Estilo. The K Series engine produces a power of 67 BHP and 10 Kgm of peak torque.

Maruti Wagon R will give a Mileage of 18.9 kmpl of petrol in standard conditions.It also comes with a new transmission with cable-type gearshift, and a superior suspension technology. Thanks to a brand-new platform, the overall length of the new Wagon R has now increased to 3,595 mm (an increase of 75 mm) with a wheelbase of 2,400 mm - the longest in its class. The new Maruti Wagon R is also wider and taller; the new dimensions are 1,495 mm and 1,700 mm, respectively.
